Just so Classic- Underthings

Underthings

Nothing more necessary than classic underthings! Both smooth line bras and panties are requirement to look polished in any outfit. Keeping a nude color also helps keep it undetected.Of course, a little something lacy is also a classic. For special occasions and on days you really want to feel your best, these are the flare that cant be seen! (At least not be everyone!)

I also included a slimming full and skirt slip. Although the slimming aspect is not a requirement, it sure helps keep clothing smooth.

Boobzilla

Ok, let's stray from our Doctor Who for a moment to talk about what Ive been up to. I am sure that I have you wondering with my very creative post name. I enjoy reading and researching things I consider to be self improvement. I am also always on the prowl for a properly fitting bra. I don't believe I have ever truly worn one. That being said, I may have found the answer. I have been reading a lot about finding and understanding bra sizes. Over several sites and forums I have discovered a very interesting way to measure bra fitting. It seems practical and I am hopeful! However, I am a tad frightened. The sizing that was suggested is so drastically different from what I am already wearing! See for yourself:

Wearing 42G = New size 40M (us sizing)

If you haven't already guessed, that's HUGE. Im nervous and excited to see if this is actually what a proper bra would look like. If your curious why and how I got this size change, you can check out this cool link. It gives all the why and how. As you may have guessed, I doubt I can find this size ANYWHERE. So, I had to order it online. When it comes in a few days I'll fill you in. I'd say I'll share pictures, but I'm not sure I'm ready to be quite that open with the world yet. We'll see. If this does work though, I'll be sharing this news from every mountain top.

20 Through 30 Let it Go

I wont lie, I'm over this month's theme. I have to much that I have been wanting to share and do and write that I've been holding back! So, I decide to combine the next few posts into one large post and get to writing whats been on my heart. Thats is where number 20 comes in!

20. Let it Go- This term made popular keeps showing up in my life. Truth is, most of us do have things we really need to just let go of. Right now mine is feeling confined to write by my theme.

21. Cry- Sometimes its good to just let out the emotions. If you have been holding onto anything recently, may I suggest opening up? Its freeing in so many ways.

22. Have a party- I should have to explain this one, but I will. Its fun, there's people, and there is food.

23. Buy some sexy lingerie- Looking beautiful makes a great difference in feeling beautiful

24.Join a group, club, or society. The socialization is good. Plus, they keep you active in one or more of your hobbies.

25.Getting fitted for a bra- Yep, most of us wear the wrong size. You look better when you wear the right one!

26.Crack out the crayons- Color! Its a mindless thing that can really change your attitude.

27. Smile at work- Even if your day is sucking... do it! Your attitude affects people around you. When you choose to be happy, your work environment is better and in the end you will be happier for it.

28.Dont bite off more than you can chew- Its ok to say no sometimes.

29. Laugh a little- Watch a funny movie, read a funny book.

30. Be yourself!

30 Before 30: Eighteen

18. Find the perfect bra!
Source

Yes, I'm airing my delicates in public! (Verbally that is!) Being one of those women with beyond store sized bust, I struggle consistently. Too small cups, not enough lift, bulges, bumps.... oh the horror!!! I hate shopping for bras too. Once upon a time, before kids I could wear the pretty things. I didn't even mind going to try them on. I typically came out pleased. That was such a short lived phase of my life! Now I'm doomed to choices I am less than happy with. I sometimes wonder if my smaller sisters suffer so?

Whatever the case, I want to find that magical bra that will make everything better before my 30th. I'll take suggestions....

Day Twenty-Three: Mommy Time

Everyone is doing slightly better this evening. My kids and husband are on the track to getting well. So far I've come out of this mostly unharmed. The only thing that truly suffered today was my hairdo and lack of supportive bra (I wore a nursing bra all day). My five month old has been glued to me for the past two days and I've already busted two good bras using the incorrectly. Word of the warning: If you nurse without a nursing bra you will break your bra!
LOOK! Cute baby!

My outfit

Although I am unpleased with my hair and bust shaping, I think the outfit today had potential. I was creative with my accessories, which I like.
From Top: Feather necklace, purple t, wide brown belt, chain necklace as bracelet, dark jeans

I didn't wear shoes most of the day because I was home with a sick family, so excuse the bare feet. Since the accessories are the cool part of my selection, I will start there. The necklace is from a "teen" store in the mall. Feathers are so in right now, I'm glad I got this. The belt came with a skirt I no longer have that I purchased while I lived in South Africa. And the best part is the multi-chain necklace that I turned into a bracelet. I just don't have access to all my jewelry right now and I wanted a certain look. For those of you who are curious, a good portion of my wardrobe and jewelry are in storage right now! My husband and are a saving and house hunting, so we are currently home-sharing. I look forward to the day I have everything back! Until then, I have to be extra creative.

I also signed up for my free trail membership to Gwynnie Bee. If you are a size ten or larger, you should come try it with me. This company caters to bring high fashion, designer clothes to curvy ladies without the commitment of buying. Its basically a rental wardrobe. Read up on their website and come along!
