Day Thirty-One: Happy Easter!

Its a bittersweet day! Its Easter, so I'm celebrating and happy. Yet, today marks the final day of our theme "Life, Lunch, and Fashion". I will miss it, but I look forward to the new adventure. This next month will bring a slightly different format. I may not be posting daily, but only when I've made something on "My Julia Project". There is nearly enough to do one everyday, so expect posts often.

I also have more good news for today. Since yesterday I finally hit over 1000 views! I am so excited! So, now is the time to announce a contest!

Contest!
Ok, in this contest you will win a box full of a few of my favorite things! This will include some items I have reviewed, foods I love, and other great surprises. I'm very excited about it!

The ending date for this contest is April 13th at 8pm. So, you have about two weeks to get in your entries! This is how you can enter:
  1. Follow my blog!
  2. Post a comment stating one item you would like to see me review.
  3. You will get 1 more entry every time you comment on a post up until the 13th of April at 8pm. (Restriction: one comment contest entry a day)
So get to it! Lucky for you it starts tonight!

My Outfit

Can't lie, disappointed with this one. Not that this is Gwynnie Bee's fault. I just didn't choose a good look for me. The dress was so comfortable and well made, but it just didn't hang correctly on me. I really think it had a lot to do with the length. A belt may have helped give me a figure as well.
From Top: pearl earrings and necklace, Igigi dress, black flats
Heels would have been great, but the weather and the fact I was working in the back with the kids made me choose otherwise. I like the pattern of the dress, but I'm just not feeling how it looked on me.  There is nothing new here to share. I think this dress would have worked better if it were on a taller gal and in a smaller size. (To give it a body hugging shape).

Happy Easter Everyone!
From my family to yours!
Henry's first Easter!

Day Thirty: Joy comes in the morning

Today was some kind of day! I had an emotional morning, busy day, and productive evening. I'll explain.

This morning as I was looking in the mirror getting ready for the day, I noticed something horrible! I had bald spots. Not like shiny bald, but fuzzy. I cried a while and called for help. After speaking with my mother I decided I better make a doctor's appointment. I have been losing hair by the handful too long to wait any more.

This afternoon was very busy. I went Goodwill shopping. I hit the jackpot today! I got a real leather blazer, pants for my husband, and five blouses for under $30. I was totally psyched. After that I went to Attic Productions to see my mother in a play. She did wonderfully, and my kids loved seeing her on stage. Afterward I ran a few errands to prepare for tomorrow.

When I got home for the evening I got straight to  work. I cut my oldest son hair. I think I did well for my first ever attempt. Thankfully he has curly hair and anything looks good on him anyway. After that I bathed both my boys and got the to bed. I completed my running around with putting out their Easter baskets. I cant wait to see what Benjamin thinks.

My Outfit

I got to wear my first item from Gwynnie Bee. I was so excited about it that I had to wash my skinny jeans so I could wear the, today. Unfortunately the photo was taken at the end of the day, so I don't look as fresh as I could have.
From bottom: sandals, skinny jeans, firefly blouse

The only thing of mine today that I need to share where to buy is the shoes. These ruffle, pink, thongs are either from Target or Payless. I can no longer remember since they are at least a year old now. The shirt is from Gwynnie Bee. Its by Eloquii and its called firefly printed top. I really think I love this blouse. I kind of with I owned it!

Looking Forward

Tomorrow is a big day!  I hope you have some plan to go to church and be with family. Celebrate Jesus' resurrection well!

Day Twenty-Nine: My box arrived!

I was so excited when my box from Gwynnie Bee came today. I practically tore it open to get a glimpse of the clothing inside. I have to admit, I was very impressed with the packaging and personal touches that were included. The clothing was all nicely wrapped and clean. I look forward to showing off these new additions to my wardrobe, starting tomorrow.

Today was a delightful day off. I got several things done, I enjoyed a picnic with my children, and my package came.
My little cutie was so brave today and climbed all the way up!

My Outfit

My outfit today reflects the fact I went to the park and had a picnic, as well as ran errands. Its casual and perfect for a cool Spring day.
From bottom: Snake print loafers, purple cords, Powers sweatshirt, sunglasses
I have to admit that my pose is not the very best to flatter my figure. Then again, neither is wearing a sweatshirt. The sweatshirt I "borrowed" from my husband. It came from some kind of catalog that makes clothing with your name on it. The glasses are from the dollar store. Yes, I think they look cool! Why spend $30 on the same pair somewhere else? The snack skin loafers are from Lane Bryant. I'm sad because they are kind of wearing out and Ive really grown attached to them.

Looking Forward

I'm starting to get excited about starting the new theme next week! I went shopping today and picked up the supplies to make my special dishes. The fridge and freezer are ready for my fun filled week of cooking.

I'm open to some feed back:
  1. I'm looking for a good lotion for itchy skin and a decent product to strengthen thin nails. I plan on testing and reviewing products until one does the trick.
  2. I am about to start potting training my two year old. Any ideas?
  3. My five month old is still not sleeping through the night. I'm considering doing Babywise like I did for my oldest. The only difference is he is sleeping in the same room as me, while my oldest had his own room then. I may have to hop over to Chronicles of a Babywise Mom's blog. Her blog helped me out a lot when Ben was young. Do you have any ideas? My youngest will be sharing a room with his brother when he moves out of my room.
Additional Info: If you are interested in additional information and another perspective on that type of sleep scheduling, you can also read Secrets of a Baby Whisperer.

I have read both books and they contain a lot of useful information. I would not take them as strict rules but as very helpful guidelines to helping you build healthy sleep patterns in your children.

Day Twenty- Eight: Spring Break!

Today officially starts my Spring break! When I left work, I said good bye for ten whole days. I'm so excited to be free to enjoy my kids and avoid alarm clocks. This does however change my final week of "Life, Lunch, and Fashion" a little bit. After today there will be no more packed lunches. That means no bento tomorrow. This will give you a small break from food until we start next month's theme "My Julia Project," which will be a lot of food! Monday will be the first day of the month and my first cooking project. Next week's list of food below is tentative.
  • Mushroom & Spinach Smothered Chicken
  • Blueberry Lemon Bundt Cake
  • Cajun Spiced Pasta With Chicken
  • Raspberry Fudge Brownies
  • Twice Baked Breakfast Potato
  • Chicken Cordon Bleu Crescents
And possibly
  • Italian Easter Bread
I look forward to sharing these great recipes and my reviews of each dish. I also intend to take a photo and share how it comes out in real life!

My Lunch
The normal, boring lunch attack continues! Today was a peanut butter and honey sandwich with an apple and fish crackers. Is that not the funkiest shaped apple ever?!

My Outfit

From top: ruby heart earings, cowl neck peach sleeveless shell, navy cardigan, ruby heart bracelet, navy skinny jeans, and black flats.
My very first pair of skinny jeans! Im so excited that I was brave enough and felt good wearing them! These were so comfortable it was amazing. The pants are cigarette cut skinny jean by Nine West. I got them at Marshalls. I recommend them! The cowl neck shell is from Target and the sweater is Old Navy. My earrings and bracelet are both gifts from my husband. Every day I grow braver and learn a little more about myself. I'm no longer restricted by what others think, I do what I like. Of course I want to look good and have nice fitting clothes, but I don't have to listen to the silly restrictions that the "world" gives me.

The Color Run

I'm so excited to announce my plans to participate in The Color Run! The Color Run is a fun 5k that raises money for a local charities. It is open to all ages, genders, and speeds. It's considered "the happiest 5k on the planet." Take a glimpse of what I can expect:
I begin training on April 1st. The event date is June 12th, that gives me almost eleven weeks to prepare.

Product Reviews

I'm interested in doing more product reviews very soon! I look forward to receiving ideas and products. Please leave a comment below if you have any ideas. Do you have something you love? Do you want to know more about a product? Do you have a product you want reviewed? Contact me on Facebook, Twitter, or by leaving a comment below!

Day Twenty-Six and Twenty-Seven: Life Happens

I apologize for going MIA yesterday. Sometimes life just happens. It certainly happened to me yesterday. I wont go into crazy detail, but I'm relieved that yesterday is over and tomorrow is a brand new day. Anyway, Ive been thinking about this month's posts. Although Sunday marks the end of "Life, Lunch, and Fashion," I don't want to leave fashion behind completely. I am learning a lot about my self by exploring my thoughts on style and fashion. Starting Monday, along with starting "My Julia Project," I will continue to show you notable wardrobe selections. I look forward to sharing my new Gwynnie Bee deliveries very soon!

Day 26 Lunch

Some would say I never really grew up. It helps me to think its better not to. Chicken nuggets always make a tasty mid-day munch!

Day 27 Lunch

I am not nearly as pleased with my lunch today as I was yesterday. I happened to have left overs because my children wouldn't allow me to peacefully eat, so I just threw it in my lunch bag. It provided me with little energy power, but it tasted fine.
I don't recommend copying today's lunch!

Day 26 Outfit

If I haven't shared with you already, I really love things with a little sparkle. I enjoy feeling like a princess on occasion.
From the top: small diamond hoops, retro/vintage sparkle sweater, vintage heart coin necklace, black dress pants, silver link bracelet, grey felt loafer flats.

Not only was this outfit cute, it is comfortable and sparkly. I almost don't want to admit that the sweater is a hand-me-down. Although the sweater is probably as old as I am, I still feel like I make it look young and up to date. The necklace and bracelet were both gifts from my husband. The charm on my necklace belonged to a family member of his many years ago. There is nothing new really to share otherwise about the outfit.

Day 27 Outfit

Because this is the final week of work before Spring break, all staff is allowed to dress down all week. I took advantage of that today and broke out some jeans and a school t-shirt. I kept my outfit work friendly by classing it up with accessories and a cardigan.
From the top: dangle Celtic knot earring and necklace, brown cardigan, maroon school t-shirt, jeans, converse style sneakers. Unseen: gold watch

I think I have shared where to get everything I wore today. If curiosity strikes you, or I missed something, please comment. I'd also like to know how you'd make jeans and a t-shirt more work friendly!

Style vs. Fashion

Style is a very personal thing. Fashion changes, but style is unique to each person. I am still in the process of creating my style and being comfortable in my own skin. Reading fellow bloggers posts, I have been inspired to issue a challenge to my readers. First read Putting Me Together's series on building a wardrobe from scratch. Second, follow her instructions an create a style board on Pinterest. Third, share a link to your board as a comment. I would love to see your boards! To get a glimpse of my style check out  my Want it!, Style-licious, and Interview/work Anthology boards.

Easter's on its way!

Check out the Easter fun we had today!

My son loved dying eggs! I also enjoyed creating a few fun designs of my own.

My teenage sister also enjoyed our decorating time!
I hope you are doing something to enjoy the season with your family!

Day Twenty-Five: Successful Day Off

I had a truly successful day off from work today. It was basically a redo of what my weekend should have been! I brought my youngest son in for a check up, I played outside with my kids, watched a little bit of a movie, did some sewing, and I looked cute doing it! It can't get much better than that for a snow day. Let me share my day with you in pictures!

Snow Day
Henry, the Easter baby!
We figured that since its SUPPOSED to be Spring we would make a tiny Easter basket.

Building a snowman
My husband enjoyed playing in the snow just as much as the kids did. In fact, he stayed out when the kids and I went back inside.
Ben's baby snowman

Benjamin showing off his snowman.

My son goes through moods when it comes to books. Right now he is very interested in the book Snowmen at Night. Since we are still getting wintry weather, I suggest you check your local library or you can buy it some place like Wal-Mart.

Sew Creations

While my children slept, I was able to do a little sewing. I got a brand new sewing machine for this past Christmas, but Ive been so busy I rarely get to use it. I was so excited to sneak away for a while and play with it. I repaired my only denim skirt. (I had ripped the seam where the slit is, making it far too revealing!) I also did a project. I made a reusable shopping bag from an old t-shirt. I was inspired by The Art of Doing Stuff's blog. Follow the link to see her instructions on how to make your own bag. I adapted mine a bit.
Here is a picture of my creation.I wish it was a better view, but this is the best I got. It takes very little sewing machine know how to complete. If you can get it threaded and going, you CAN make this! For other great sewing ideas check out my Sew Creations board on Pinterest. During Spring break I hope to do several more projects.

My Outfit

Like I said, I relived Saturday. I made it a no make-up, no hair washing day. I did go out, so I couldn't stay in pajamas, but I was comfortable and cute.
From to: small diamond hoops, cross necklace, striped cowl neck t-shirt, jeans, felt loafers
You can't really see it in this picture, but I wore my hair in a side braided bun. The whole outfit was practical, without looking frumpy. The earrings are one of my few fine jewelry pieces. They were a gift from my in-laws. The shirt was a Goodwill find of a brand new Target shirt. The sleeves and the neckline are my favorite style. The only down fall I find with this shirt is the stripes. I don't find that stripes help my figure at all. The jeans are Lane Bryant, slightly flared. The shoes are a mix between a loafer and a flat. The work well with pants in both casual and work settings. These charcoal one's I got at Rack Room Shoes. Last, but not least in the cross. Ive probably had it since I was 14 or 15 years old. As a teenager I wore it all the time. My mother recently found it, so I'm rocking it again!

Life as I know it

What can I say, I really think this blog is helping me get more in tune with myself. After the birth of my children I lost myself in motherhood, now I am Amanda- wife, mom, and woman. I'm enjoying sharing my fashion, my family, my life with the blogging world. I'm also learning about myself. I like being more than what I can see!

Mini Focus

Random acts of kindness are hard when you are away from a lot of people! I was able to accomplish something, but I really want to do more. Do you have any ideas? I don't have money to spend, but Ive got heart and time. Please comment below with ideas.

Day Twenty-Four: Snowy Sunday

It was a lovely snowy day today! It makes it even better to know I wont have to go to  work tomorrow. Schools closed already around here, so I'm free! Even with the wintry weather, we did get to go to church. Another great message from my pastor at River Church. After church we had lunch with my parents and did a little shopping adventure at Marshalls. I found several great deals, but with my husband's help, I controlled myself. There were Coach sneaker is my huge size 11, and at sixty bucks they were a good deal... but not needed! I did however get my first pair of cigarette style pants. Its the closest thing to skinnys I have ever gotten. Anyway, on with the post!

My Outfit

Had it not been snowing I would have rocked some kind of heel. I didn't want to risk injury so I stuck to my flats once again.
From top: black dangle earrings, Argyle sweater, suede like studded skirt, flats
Due to cold weather I also opted for a suede like skirt and a warm sweater. I had hoped to dress Spring like by now. Still, I love the skirt. Back before the holidays last year I got it at Lane Bryant. The cute stone studs make it unique and more special than a normal pencil skirt. The sweater is from Old Navy. During the winter they usually have a great selection of sweaters. The earrings are also from Lane Bryant.

My Life List

I realize I'm cutting into the theme of this week by finishing this up today. I wasn't very good about keeping up with it over the last few days. I wanted to share a few things I think I want to add to my life list at the bottom of the site. First, I think I want to enter some kind of plus size pageant. I have entered a few traditional pageants, but they just see a fat girl and not who I am. Now that I'm older and married, those are no longer even an option. Second, I want to be able to take care of myself in a few untraditional ways like changing my own tires, oil, and wiper-blades. I think depending on a guy to do all that is silly (although I like when my husband takes care of things).  Third, I want to learn to work with wood. I'd like to complete at least one project in that area.  I also want to learn basic plumbing. Its just a fact of life that things will break! And last, but not least, I want to feel comfortable enough to wear a bikini. That is a huge jump for me, but as I get more comfortable with my curves it may come.

Looking Forward

This coming week we will be focusing on random acts of kindness again.  We will also be looking at my plans for Spring break. It should be a fun collection of things! Since I have no work, there will be no packed lunch included in the post tomorrow. Otherwise, I look forward to sharing more with you!

Day Twenty-Three: Mommy Time

Everyone is doing slightly better this evening. My kids and husband are on the track to getting well. So far I've come out of this mostly unharmed. The only thing that truly suffered today was my hairdo and lack of supportive bra (I wore a nursing bra all day). My five month old has been glued to me for the past two days and I've already busted two good bras using the incorrectly. Word of the warning: If you nurse without a nursing bra you will break your bra!
LOOK! Cute baby!

My outfit

Although I am unpleased with my hair and bust shaping, I think the outfit today had potential. I was creative with my accessories, which I like.
From Top: Feather necklace, purple t, wide brown belt, chain necklace as bracelet, dark jeans

I didn't wear shoes most of the day because I was home with a sick family, so excuse the bare feet. Since the accessories are the cool part of my selection, I will start there. The necklace is from a "teen" store in the mall. Feathers are so in right now, I'm glad I got this. The belt came with a skirt I no longer have that I purchased while I lived in South Africa. And the best part is the multi-chain necklace that I turned into a bracelet. I just don't have access to all my jewelry right now and I wanted a certain look. For those of you who are curious, a good portion of my wardrobe and jewelry are in storage right now! My husband and are a saving and house hunting, so we are currently home-sharing. I look forward to the day I have everything back! Until then, I have to be extra creative.

I also signed up for my free trail membership to Gwynnie Bee. If you are a size ten or larger, you should come try it with me. This company caters to bring high fashion, designer clothes to curvy ladies without the commitment of buying. Its basically a rental wardrobe. Read up on their website and come along!

Day Twenty-Two: A Sick Day

I used up a whole sick day, except Im not sick. My whole family is though. I got dressed and packed and awesome lunch just to leave work by ten AM. Don't worry, I still have a little bit of awesomeness to share.

Outfit
I am so excited how slim I looked today! I didn't mean to look so chic, but I've done it again!
From top: shirt style blouse, dark jeans, black flats

I believe the blouse's pattern is what makes it so thinning. The blouse is from J C Penny. I used to have several similar ones, but this is all I have right now. The dark jeans are the Tighter Tummy Technology from Lane Bryant. I was running late this morning, but what this outfit really needs are some great bracelets or a nice bangle.

My Lunch

Since the first day of Spring was this week, my son and I's lunch fit the theme. It was fun to make... I only wish we had gotten to show them off.
My son's lunch

My lunch

I must go and care for my sicklys again. I hope tomorrow will bring good health and some more to share with you.

Day Twenty-one: Mourning My Favorite Hat

My favorite Winter hat spent its final hours in the bitter cold, doing me little good. Somehow a giant hole was riped into it and it began to unravel. There was little I could do to save it, so I let it go. Otherwise, my day was super normal. I will admit that I am unusually tired this evening. I doubt I will do everything I hoped to do tonight.

Still no responses to my recent questions... thats alright. I will have to just go on with no added direction.

My Lunch
I told you it was normal. I barely had this lunch actually. I was running a tad behind today because I forgot to make my lunch the day before like I usually do. I just threw a few things in my purse and ran.

My Outfit

This was slightly more put together, but my hair was hardly something special. I pulled it up into a messy bun. The pictures don't really give a good view of it, but I did get compliments on it. So it must have looked ok. I was unable to get any up close photos today and I'm very disappointed. There is some great detail in the shirt.
From bottom: black flats, eggplant dress pants, black t-shirt, silver bracelet with amethyst, purple dangle earrings.
The earrings are from Lane Bryant. They are fairly new so you can probably find them in stores and on the website. The t-shirt is from Marshalls. That is a great place to find name brands for good prices. I highly recommend Marshalls and Ross. It has a fabulous crisscross detail near the neckline. The eggplant pants have a fine pin-stripe. They are great pair of colorful pants that dress up my boring blacks and browns. The bracelet is from Target near the holidays. It is an unfinished amethyst on a dainty sliver chain. I like to wear purple with these pants to pull out the purple coloring they have.

Looking Forward

Next week's mini theme will likely cover several things. We will start looking at my plans for Spring break as well as talking about some crafty things! Also, because it is the week before Easter we are joining another week of random acts of kindness! I hope you all will join me this week in blessing someone else's life.

Life List

I know I haven't said much about my life list the last few days, but I have been thinking about it. In fact, I think I may add two things tomorrow. Im considering adding making myself some kind of clothing, but I dont know if its a big enough goal for my life list. I really want to become a real woman of all trades. Perhaps I will add something related to that!

Day Twenty: A Cuppa Coffee Kinda Day

For those who dont know me well, I RARELY drink coffee, and never in the morning. But, this morning was a different case. After several nights of little sleep, two sick children, and almost falling asleep in the shower, I knew I needed to do something. I drank a cup of coffee, but much to my disappointment, it didn't help at all. All I can say is that Im tired... I still think Im super mommy today.

My Lunch

My lunch today was yummy. Still leftovers, but good ones. Mexican bake (also known as taco bake or casserole) and Mexican corn. I do love my casseroles. I enjoy making them. I enjoy eating them. I enjoy sharing them with others. What is not to like about them?
I was hoping to do two bento lunches this week, but its not going to happen. I am hoping to celebrate Spring in Friday's bento.

My Outfit

My outfit turned out better today than yesterday. In fact, I got a large number of compliments on my blouse today. It is one of my personal favorites now anyway, but that just kicked it to my complete favorite I think. I got it recently for an interview, but never wore it for one. I really think the cowl neckline makes it slimming. I have lots of picture today! I hope you enjoy.

Here are pictures of my outfit with and without my coat. This is the denim coat I spoke about it my basics. I love it. It is from Lane Bryant and its one of my favorite pieces. The shirt is from J C Penny's. They always have decent clearance and their work clothing in plus sizes is rocking now.
The pants are also J C Penny's I believe. If I haven't mentioned before, my basic black flats are from Payless.

Happy Spring! My jewelry today was inspired by our new season. I also have some great photos for you to view of those as well.

My necklace was a Christmas gift from my mother, so I cant say where its from. The ring however is from a Celtic fair that comes every year to my town near St. Patrick's day. I've had this ring since last year when I asked my husband if I could get a right hand ring. I meant to make it my signature piece, but it gets caught on things. That is very challenging as a parent. So, now its just worn on occasion, like many of my other rings.

Life List

Ive thought a little bit about my life list today. I have considered this blog some as well. I really want to make something out of this. Im not sure how or even what exactly, but its becoming a part of me. I am trying to think how I can incorporate it into my life list. I have also been thinking about how I can make a mark on this world. What will be people remember about me? Who will they say I was? What did I do? Our goal should be to change our world.

Day Nineteen: Late Night Cookies

and other unusual thoughts...

1. Why does the scent of oranges make me think of Christmas?
2. Its decided I need tall brown boots.
3. Im going to miss discussing fashion when we move on next month!
4. I need a product to help with itchy eczema. Any ideas? Ill do a review!

My Outfit

The cause of the second act of randomness in the outfit I wore today. The outfit itself I was pleased with, but the shoes ruined everything! I'm telling you this now because I'm slightly embarrassed I have to show you the pictures.
From the AWFUL bottom: converse style tweed shoes, purple dress, brown-large buckle belt, brown camisole, chains.

Not only are the shoes a bad addition, the picture did not do me any justice today. I think I look a bit more on the rolly rather than curvy side. I intended on taking more photos, but time escaped me, As for where you can get the items. The shoes were cheap-o from something like Big Lots or Dollar General. Their purpose were "work" shoes when I worked in a summer camp. The purple dress is Old Navy. I promise it looks so much prettier in person. The camisole is Lane Byrant and the necklace and belt Im unsure about. The necklace was probably from some "teenie bopper" store in the mall. They are cheap and the jewelry in those places are good no matter your age or size. This outfit would have been acceptable with tall brown boots. Therefor, they are on my shopping "want it" list right now.

My Lunch

An epic fail of an outfit can go down along with my leftover lunch. Pizza again!

My in-laws, husband, and kids really love pizza and who am I to argue?

In Other News

I havent spent enough time with my life list today to go in depth right now. I have been reading around on several other great blogs, looking for inspiration, ideas, and advice. I have found several great ones on fashion and parenting. Im going to ask permission first, but I am hoping to give you guys links to some of them really soon!

Day Eighteen: A Life List

Forgetful Manda

So, at work today I was supposed to have worn green again. I didn't, so I was the kindergarten outcast. Thankfully a coworker had a green bead necklace that I could borrow. I was at risk of being pinched before that point. Otherwise, my outfit turned out alright. It was another rainy, sock soaking day. My hair kind of looked like a drowned cat, but what could I do?

My Outfit

Im proud to say a little less Lane Bryant today, and a little more variety!
From the top: pink and purple dangle earrings, brown sweater, purple cords, gold cap toe flats.

My sweater is from Old Navy and the cords are from J C Penny's. I usually steer away from colored pants but my husband loved these so much that he insisted on them. Although you cant see them in the top picture, I really think the earrings make the outfit. They are a Lane Bryant buy, but they are so fun. They do run on the heavier side, so its hard to wear them for long periods of time.

My Lunch

Leftovers are starting to become a theme for my lunches. They are easy and require so little preparation, its sad. Today's left over surprise is spaghetti. I will warn you, this was not a good choice for a carry along to work food. Its messy and red. That being said, it tasted great even with the mushrooms.
For the health benefits I also included some tomatoes and cucumbers that were salt and peppered. To counter act my good decision, I also brought garlic bread.

Considering Life Lists

I hope you took a few moments to glance over my life list below. Having life goals is an important part of knowing who you are. Some things on my life list are under my control, others are not (my siblings for example). Many of them take some kind of effort on my part. It has been a while since I read over my list. At one time there were many more things on that list. Its amazing how much Ive been able to remove already at the age of twenty-five. I'm married with children, Ive traveled to many countries, my education is complete, I've even overcome great medical issues. At times I have added new things to my list. On rare occasion something strikes me as so amazing or important that I have to add them. The last two things added were the festival of lanterns and seeing a thunder-snow. These are two breath taking views I don't want to miss in my life time. Over the course of this week I will take some time to consider my list. I want to look deeper into why many things are included. I may also decide to add more as I spend this extra little time in self discovery. Now is your chance to get involved. Leave a comment and share something on your life list.

My Kindergarten lucky number today is 50.... lets see what happens!
